How to convert HEIC photos from an iPhone to PDF

iPhones save photos as HEIC by default, a format many programs and online forms cannot open. The converter turns HEIC photos straight into a PDF – no need to convert them to JPG first or change your camera settings.

  1. Add your HEIC photos

Drop .heic or .heif files in the box above. On an iPhone, pick them from the Files app.

  2. Choose the page size

A4 with a margin suits documents, “Same as image” suits ordinary photos.

  3. Download the PDF

Combine several photos into one file or save them separately in a ZIP.

Why HEIC causes trouble

  • many online forms accept only JPG, PNG or PDF
  • older Windows programs cannot open HEIC
  • email recipients often see no preview

For the future

If you prefer compatible files straight away, set Formats → Most Compatible in the iPhone camera settings – photos will be saved as JPG. HEIC files do take up less space, though.
