How to convert SVG to PDF

SVG is a vector graphics format used for logos, icons, diagrams and charts from design programs. Not every recipient or print shop can open it. The converter turns SVG into a high-resolution PDF, ready to send or print.

  1. Add SVG files

Drop one or more .svg graphics into the box above.

  2. Choose the page size

“Same as image” keeps the graphic’s proportions, A4 with margin centres it on the sheet.

  3. Download the PDF

Combine several graphics into one file or save them separately in a ZIP.

How the PDF is made

  • the graphic is saved as a high-resolution image – at least 2000 pixels on the longer side
  • a transparent background will be white
  • the PDF will no longer contain editable vector paths

Good to know

If the SVG uses fonts you do not have installed, they may be replaced with similar ones. In that case convert the text to outlines in your design program before exporting. Images linked into the SVG from the internet may not appear.
