How to convert a Polish KSeF e-invoice from XML to PDF
Invoices from Poland’s National e-Invoicing System (KSeF) are XML files – readable for software, but not for people. To print them, archive them or pass them on to a business partner you need a PDF visualisation. PDFowo creates it with the official library of the Polish Ministry of Finance, the same one used in the KSeF Taxpayer Application.
- Load the XML file
Drop an e-invoice downloaded from KSeF or from your invoicing software.
- Add the KSeF number
If the number is in the file name, we fill it in for you. With it, the invoice gets a verification QR code.
- Download the PDF
Save the invoice visualisation, ready to print or send.
Supported documents
- invoices in the FA(1), FA(2) and FA(3) schemas
- invoices in the PEF format
- the Official Acknowledgement of Receipt (UPO)
QR code and invoice verification
For every loaded invoice you see a preview of the verification QR code and a “Verify in KSeF” link that opens the Ministry of Finance website. The code works for the original XML file downloaded from KSeF. On the PDF printout the code appears once the KSeF number is entered.
Your data stays with you
The invoice is processed in your browser. Business partner details and amounts are not sent to any server.
Frequently asked questions
Is the PDF visualisation the invoice?
The invoice is the XML document stored in KSeF. The PDF is its readable visualisation, convenient for printing, archiving or sharing with people outside the system.
Where do I find the invoice’s KSeF number?
In the KSeF Taxpayer Application, in your invoicing software or in the name of the downloaded file.
Can I convert many invoices at once?
Yes. Load all the XML files at once – you can download each invoice separately for free. You can also download them all in one ZIP archive.
