Main features
- editing existing text and adding new text
- handwritten signature, stamps (e.g. APPROVED, COPY) and images
- highlighter, boxes, arrows, lines and notes
- redaction of personal data

Scans and OCR
If the document is a scan, the OCR button recognises the text on it, so you can select and correct it.
Redaction
The “Redact” tool permanently removes the content under the black box instead of just covering it. That matters when you share documents with personal data.
Frequently asked questions
Can I change the text in any PDF?
In most documents, yes. In scans the text has to be recognised with the OCR button first. How edited text looks depends on the fonts embedded in the file.
Does the editor add a watermark to the file?
No. The saved document contains no PDFowo marks.
Can I sign a document in the editor?
Yes – draw your signature with the pen or insert a scan of it as an image. For signing only, the Sign PDF tool is more convenient.
