How to change the order of pages in a PDF
Pages mixed up during scanning, an attachment in the wrong place or a document that needs reversing – you can change the page order of a PDF by dragging thumbnails, without printing and scanning again.
- Load the PDF
Drop the document in the box above.
- Drag the pages
Grab a thumbnail and move it to a new position, or move pages with the arrows under the thumbnail.
- Download the PDF
Save the document in the new order.
Handy shortcuts
- “Reverse order” puts the pages from last to first – useful after scanning a stack of sheets from the back
- “Restore original” undoes all moves
- the number on each thumbnail shows the page’s new position
Easy on a phone
The arrows under the thumbnails move a page by one position, which is easier than dragging on a small screen.
Frequently asked questions
Does reordering affect quality?

Can I arrange pages from several files?
Yes, but use the Merge PDF tool for that – there you can move pages between files.
Is the document uploaded to a server?
No. You change the order locally in your browser.
